Marsbook, developed for NASA by the Design Edge Media Integration Group, is a highly detailed 3D database representing a complex model of the Mars Habitat Design. An interactive application allows users to access rendered 3D images, walk-through animations, QuickTime™ movies, and CAD databases as well as information and data about the planned first Mars Habitat. Winner of six industry awards including New Media Invision Award of Excellence and Gold Awards, a Business Week Industrial Design Excellence Award, a Nicograph Design Award, and an Asso-ciation of Visual Communicators (AVC) Cindy Award.
